Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 7th Beyond Cancer Annual Fundraising Ball on Saturday. Once again, your support helped to make it another successful evening!! The focus on the night was young people and the support they and their families receive from Beyond Cancer and the local Teenage Cancer Trust, based at Leeds General Infirmary. Funds raised at the event were shared between Beyond Cancer and Teenage Cancer Trust to continue their much needed work.

Sue Morgan has worked in teenage and young adult cancer care in Leeds for 20 years and has developed a regional service, building an amazing team. She is particularly passionate about working with young people in particular involving them in service development.
Young Performers for the evening
Ewan Turner
Thirteen year old Ewan, has been playing the guitar, bass, keyboard and singing for some years now. He's part of a band and his musical influences include: Slash, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Nirvana, Greenday and many others. He likes to play anything from blues to punk.

The "Carol Thomas Listening Ear and Hands that Hold Award" was awarded this year to Janice Daniel in recognition of the support she has given to others with a cancer diagnosis.​
