It is a privilege to serve as Chair for our amazing charity, which is a voluntary role. I am a qualified Life Coach and Social worker with a background in Senior Leadership working with children and families.
I have been a member of our charity since it began in 2010 and we have made a significant impact through our work. In my spare time I enjoy being grandma to my delightful grandchildren.

Isola Blair
Trustee
I am a Social Worker and one of the founder members of Beyond Cancer. Being diagnosed with breast cancer was a pivotal point in my life. From the diagnosis to now, my life has changed and a new journey began for me.
I am proud to say that I am a survivor of breast cancer.
Paula Swanston
Trustee
My role with Beyond Cancer began when cancer touched the lives of family members who are near and dear to me were diagnosed with cancer. Having a financial background of over 23 years and knowledge of working with charities, it was a must for me to dedicate some of my time to such a worthy cause.
Working with the other members of the board has been an informative journey for me. I have learnt so much and look forward to learning so much more.
Valerie Francis
Trustee
Before retirement, I was a qualified Nurse, Care Home Manager and Compliance Inspector for the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
I became involved with Beyond Cancer through my work experience of family and friends who have been diagnosed with breast and other forms of cancer.
